Landscaping Activities in “General Jovan Mišković" Barracks
Today, cadets of the Military Academy and Medical Faculty of the MMA were engaged in landscaping activities in barracks “General Jovan Mišković” where they planted more than 250 two years old seedlings of different deciduous and evergreen trees on the surface stretching over more than two hectares.
The activity was conducted in collaboration with experts from the Public Utility Company “Zelenilo-Beograd” with the view of embellishing the area where the cadets and employees spend their time. Apart from creating conditions for more pleasant and healthier life, today’s activity had an educational character as well relating to the field of ecology and environment protection.
By planting the trees in the barracks, the cadets have proved that it is possible to launch a mass ecological initiative to build healthier living environment, significant for clean air in the city core of Belgrade.
