Military Academy Cadets Successfully Executed Firing from Anti-Tank Rocket Launcher M80
Today, Cadets of 145th Class of Infantry Module, and cadets of 147th Class of the Military Academy have successfully performed firing from 64mm rocket launcher M80 at the shooting range of the Military compound “Orešac”.
After acquiring theoretic knowledge during their previous education, and the work with anti-tank rocket launcher M80 on the training areas and seminar rooms for armament at the Military Academy, today, the cadets of 147th class had an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and test it in practice during their first firing form this largest calibre weapon that they have been faced so far.
Today, the final year cadets of the Infantry Module, who, apart from their role of firing performers, were introduced to the methodology of the organisation and tasks of the bodies on the shooting range, and they demonstrated excellent preparedness for the execution of the firing, and they confirmed their readiness to transfer their knowledge and skills soon to new generations, once they assume their first officer duties as the youngest second lieutenants of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Commander of the Cadet Brigade of the Military Academy, Colonel Milan Končar and commanding officers of the Military Academy evaluated the engagement of the cadets during the preparations and very execution of the firing as very good, and they expressed their belief that the cadets would maintain the same approach to their obligations and instruction that they are to face in the future.
