Soldiers undergo specialized training at Air Force and Air Defence Training Centre
Specialized training is underway for soldiers who are performing their military service (September 2023 intake) at the Air Force and Air Defence Training Centre at the airfield in Batajnica.
This centre provides training for soldiers serving in the air defence artillery-missile units, air surveillance and early warning services and aviation-technical specialists.
Soldiers are trained in accordance with their military occupation specialties, as operators of antiaircraft guns and missile systems, operators in air surveillance and early warning centres and aircraft maintenance technicians.
Training is carried out in fully equipped labs and on the missile and radar-computer systems and aircraft. In this way, soldiers are provided with the best possible conditions for learning how to use these combat vehicles, operate them and perform basic maintenance on them.
Soldiers are yet to undergo more complex field training, followed by the evaluation of their skills in performing military tasks, which rounds off the specialized training phase.
The soldiers will spend the last three months of their military service in collective training in Air Force and Air Defence units, where they will be actively involved in the execution of daily tasks.
