Tactical training in Armoured Reconnaissance Battalion
As part of regular training in performing specific tasks, members of the Armoured Reconnaissance Battalion are undergoing tactical training in providing intelligence to the Army.
The training, which is being conducted at and around the training area in Niš, aims to help scouts maintain and improve their skills in collecting intelligence and to provide additional training to professional soldiers recently assigned to the unit.
During this stage of field training, scouts are practicing tactical actions and procedures, as well as the use of observation and data collection equipment. They are also practicing the organization and execution of scout patrols, raids and ambushes. In addition to reconnaissance tasks, professional soldiers of critical specialties are also being taught to operate armoured reconnaissance vehicles and use them in combat in all conditions.
Continuous training conducted by the Serbian Armed Forces throughout the year is crucial for preserving the ability of the Armored Reconnaissance Battalion to perform all its tasks in different tactical, weather and terrain conditions and to provide reliable and verified intelligence that is of the utmost importance for the success of SAF operations.
