Minister Vučević meets representatives of Union of Montenegrin Students studying in Serbia
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Nikola Selaković met today at the Government of the Republic of Serbia with representatives of the Union of Montenegrin Students studying in Serbia.
On that occasion, Ministers Vučević and Selaković discussed with Jelena Dobričanin, Vuk Orović and Marko Milačić from the Union of Montenegrin Students the Union’s initiative to grant the right to free education to Montenegrin students studying in the Republic of Serbia using their population consensus form as evidence of nationality.
The Union emphasizes that it is necessary to make additional efforts to strengthen the ties between Serbia and Serbs from the surrounding region and the diaspora and advocates the idea of granting Montenegrin students the right to education under the same conditions as their peers in Serbia.
Minister Vučević expressed his satisfaction at the opportunity to meet with the young Union members. According to him, discussions like this are the right way to find constructive solutions. Young and educated people, said Minister Vučević, are the future and all options should be considered for ensuring that future university graduates are provided with the best possible conditions during their studies.
