SAF reservists undergo regular training
Training is underway for SAF reserve soldiers and officers in the Army and Training Command units.
The activity is carried out in accordance with the reserve’s annual call-up and training plan and aims to refresh the knowledge the reservists acquired while performing their military service, familiarize them with modern principles of unit employment and teach them how to use the assets currently in service at the Serbian Armed Forces.Reserve artillerymen, scouts, military policemen and logisticians are currently in training. They are being trained to carry out their branch/service-specific tasks, in accordance with their military occupational specialties, in the classrooms and on the training grounds. In addition to this, their training includes general activities such as close-order drills and physical training, as well as the execution of planned shooting practices using personal weapons.
The reserve training is carried out in cycles throughout the year in accordance with the needs expressed by SAF units and the funds approved. The training helps improve the reserve soldiers’ and officers’ skills, and thus the Serbian Armed Forces’ ability to carry out their missions and tasks.
