Visit from newly appointed Ambassador of People’s Republic of China
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff today received a visit from the newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Li Ming.
General Mojsilović extended to Ambassador Li Ming a warm welcome to the Republic of Serbia and expressed his belief that the latter’s diplomatic experience and personal commitment would provide the impetus for the further advancement of the traditionally good relations between the two countries. During the conversation, the two men stated that there was a mutual interest in intensifying the defence cooperation and expressed their belief that the cooperation would contribute to the strengthening of overall relations between the Republic of Serbia and the People’s Republic of China.
Ambassador Li Ming said it was his honour to represent his country in Serbia and reiterated that the People’s Republic of China strongly supports the territorial integrity and economic development of the Republic of Serbia, which it considers an important partner in this part of the world.
