SAF reconnaissance units conduct tactical training
Members of reconnaissance units in Army brigades have conducted tactical field training.
The training includes routine activities designed to maintain the scouts’ proficiency level in carrying out tasks in the depth of enemy dispositions.
In various tactical circumstances, weather conditions and types of terrain, the scouts practiced carrying out surprise raids, ambushes and reconnaissance patrols, as well as the collection of information on the enemy and the situation on the ground, using modern observation devices. During the training, the scouts’ performance was monitored and assessed, as well as their knowledge and application of tactical actions and procedures, their motivation and the general physical and psychological fitness of soldiers and commanders.
These training activities, which are only a part of continuous and complex scout training, have helped improve the ability of Army reconnaissance units to provide intelligence to forces on operations.
