Minister Vučević attends feast day celebration in Sremska Kamenica

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević attended today the celebration of the feast day of Sremska Kamenica, the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Mala Gospojina).
Wishing the citizens of Sremska Kamenica a happy feast day, Minister Vučević said that everyone living in the Srem District of Novi Sad should continue to fight for the development of this area.

- Don't let the haters prevent the building of the bridge that we need, that you need, don't let the haters prevent the building of kindergartens and schools or the opening of factories, don’t let them prevent our children from enrolling in kindergartens more easily, or our people from getting employment more easily - said Minister Vučević.
He told the Novi Sad city managers to continue with investments and to continue to love their city and country.

- Respect everyone, but love only Serbia. Some people love the western countries, some love the east, we respect everyone, but we love only Serbia and we only pledge allegiance to our flag, our coat of arms and sing our national anthem. We have one country. All of you who were born here and who have come from Krajina, from Dalmatia, from Lika, Kordun, Banija, from various parts of Republika Srpska or Bosnia and Herzegovina, from all the places where our people live - you all live and we all live in our homeland, we all live in Serbia - said the Minister of Defence, adding that everyone was welcome in Novi Sad.

The Minister of Defence told the citizens of Sremska Kamenica to get together for good reasons, but also to be there in difficult times.
  - Storms pass, but people remain. And always bear in mind - we care about human lives more than anything else - said Minister Vučević, thanking the organizers of the event for inviting him.

The celebration of the feast day of Sremska Kamenica was attended by the President of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirović, and the heads of the Deputy Prime Minister’s and Defence Minister’s cabinets, Žarko Mićin and Brigadier General Goran Momčilović.
