Minister Vučević meets with Ambassador of Cyprus Photiou



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Serbia, H.E. Andreas Photiou.
  Minister Vučević said that bilateral relations between Serbia and Cyprus are traditionally good and friendly, unencumbered by any open issues and based on mutual respect and cooperation.
He expressed his gratitude to Cyprus for providing continued support to Serbia in its efforts to preserve its territorial integrity and sovereignty. Minister Vučević emphasized that Serbia supports efforts to find a comprehensive solution to the Cyprus issue, in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions.

At the meeting, Minister Vučević expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to him during his official visit to Cyprus, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the two countries, as well as his support for its further enhancement.
Ambassador Photiou thanked Minister Vučević for the reception and expressed his expectation that the continuity of high-level meetings between state officials will be maintained in the coming period.
