SAF members provide assistance to citizens of Trgovište and Prokuplje

Members of the Serbian Armed Forces have carried out CIMIC projects in cooperation with local self-governments in Trgovište and Prokuplje.
As part of these projects, whose purpose is to strengthen mutual trust and provide a better life for the citizens of Serbia, residents of the village of Novi Glog in the municipality of Trgovište were provided with medical assistance and road reconstruction works in the village of Zdravinje near Prokuplje were carried out.

The 4th Army Brigade’s military doctors and medical technicians have performed medical checkups in a makeshift dispensary in Elementary School “Vuk Karadžić” in Novi Glog, and made house calls to people with limited mobility and immobility.

At the same time, in the village of Zdravinje, the 3rd Army Brigade’s engineer task force is repairing damage and removing trees and vegetation from a critical section of the local road so that the residents can use it without hindrance. Working on road reconstruction is a form of real world training for engineer units specializing in road construction, which helps them improve their competence to engage in operations and perform unit-specific tasks.
The Serbian Armed Forces carry out CIMIC projects in all parts of our country. They have helped build roads and waterworks, clear snowdrifts and riverbeds, supply water and provide medical care to local population on numerous occasions,  and they will continue to do so in the future.
