Call for young people to apply for voluntary military service
All young men and women interested in doing voluntary military service under arms can submit their applications at the Ministry of Defence Centres and get the chance to join the ranks of the Serbian Armed Forces as early as September this year. Application period for reserve officer course is also ongoing.
All applicants will get the chance to test their abilities, undergo dynamic military training and demonstrate patriotism and civic duty towards their country. Voluntary military service is also the shortest path to becoming a professional member of the Serbian Armed Forces. All physically fit citizens of our country who turn 19-30 in the year 2023, and who have not previously performed military service under arms, are eligible to apply.
Candidates can submit their applications at the Ministry of Defence Centres – former recruitment offices, through e-government portal, using a qualified electronic certificate, and in all Post Office branches across Serbia.Future soldiers will receive a monthly pay of around 46,000 dinars. Those who decide, during their voluntary military service, to apply for professional soldiers will face simplified selection and admission procedures.
