Out of deep respect for the sacrifices and heroism of members of the Yugoslav Army, who defended the homeland in 1999, the Public Relations Department and Military Film Centre "Zastava Film" launched a documentary series entitled "Heroic Brigades".
The third film in this series is dedicated to the 37th Motorized Brigade. It was created in collaboration with members of the heroic brigade, depicting their assignments, battles and events in their area of operations. The fighters’ personal testimonies which, in this way, have been saved from oblivion, add to the value of the film.
The documentary, directed by Marko Kamenica and filmed by Mirko Lukanović, is a story about a time and a testimony about the contribution of this heroic brigade to the defence of the homeland, and about the spirit and a set of values that adorned the brigade’s character.
The premiere of the next documentary in the “Heroic Brigades” series, "Heroic 549th Motorized Brigade", is being prepared.
