Soldiers undergo logistics training
Soldiers who started doing their military service in March this year are currently undergoing logistics training at the Logistics Training Centre units in the garrisons of Kraljevo, Kruševac and Niš.
During this one-and-a-half month training stage, soldiers in the logistics MOS field are undergoing theoretical and practical training for a variety of tasks related to technical, quartermaster, medical and transportation services.
The training is being conducted in specially equipped study rooms, in the field and on combat and non-combat assets, thus providing soldiers with the best conditions for learning how to handle the weapons and military equipment and perform basic maintenance on them, how to do general logistics jobs, and provide medical care and transportation.
Once they complete their specialized training, their skills will be evaluated and they will be transferred to SAF units where they will be trained to perform collective assignments until the end of their military service.
The Logistics Training Centre provides training for over 20 military occupational logistics specialties including cooks, bakers, drivers, medics, wheeled and tracked vehicle mechanics, as well as various combat systems, weapons, ammunition and explosive ordnance mechanics.
