Minister Vučević meets with Azerbaijani delegation
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vucević met today with the delegation from the Republic of Azerbaijan headed by Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev.
Minister Vučević said that Azerbaijan's position expressed by its vote at the Council of Europe confirmed the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries, but also its principled position regarding the preservation of Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.At the meeting, Minister Vučević said he was satisfied with the ongoing cooperation between the two countries in the domain of military economy and expressed his support for the efforts made to implement previously defined joint cooperation projects as soon as possible.
Minister Babayev thanked Minister Vučević for the reception and said he was interested in promoting cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan in the defence industry domain.At the end of the meeting, Minister Vučević invited Minister Babayev to visit the International Arms and Military Equipment Fair "Partner 2023" to be held in Belgrade in September.
