New team of Serbian Armed Forces in EU Mission in Central African Republic

A regular rotation of contingents of the Serbian Armed Forces engaged in European Union mission for the training of security forces in the Central African Republic was carried out in the capital of this country – Bangui.
Our contingent in this peacekeeping mission consists of a staff officer appointed as the Chief of Mission Medical Service and a medical team responsible for medical support for the training and the provision of primary healthcare for international forces.

The doctors and medical technicians of the Serbian Armed Forces who have taken over their duties for the following six months, just like the previous contingent, will perform their tasks in a complex security environment. Their predecessors successfully executed all tasks of providing preventive medical protection and treatment of the injured and ill, thus demonstrating in the best possible manner the professionalism and competence of members of the Medical Service of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The Serbian Armed Forces initiated their participation in the European Union mission in the Central African Republic in 2016, and through the engagement in EU military operations, carried out in the framework of the Common Security and Defence Policy, members of the Serbian Armed Forces not only contribute to the preservation of peace in the world, but to the strengthening of foreign policy position of our country.
