Chief of General Staff visits Sukovo Monastery

Last night, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, accompanied by representatives of the Serbian Armed Forces, visited the Monastery of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Sukovo near Pirot.
At midnight, General Mojsilović attended the Easter morning prayer service and liturgy, following which he talked to Archimandrite Serafim Mišić, abbot of the Sukovo monastery, and the monks.

General Mojsilović thanked the monks on their hospitality, saying that it was his honour and pleasure to visit that holy place on the most joyous of Christian festivals. He wished them good health, and expressed hope that the joy of Christ's resurrection would inspire them to continue their asceticism in the future.
The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff was accompanied by Head of the Logistics Department (J-4), Major General Srđan Petković, Head of the Human Resources Department (J-1), Brigadier General Savo Iriškić, and Head of Office of the Chief of the General Staff, Colonel Slađan Hristov, PhD.
