Minister Vučević lays wreath for Ivan Vasojević, fallen fighter of Košare
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević laid a wreath today in the village of Donji Goračić near Sjenica, at the grave of the fallen soldier Ivan Vasojević who died in the Battle of Košare on this day in 1999.
Minister Vučević laid the wreath with brigadier generals Goran Momčilović and Siniša Stašević in attendance. Wreaths were also laid by family members and representatives of the Serbian Armed Forces and the local self-government.After the ceremony, the minister paid a call to the family of the hero of Košare.
Sergeant Ivan Vasojević died at the age of 24, fighting the Albanian terrorists. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Merit in Defence and Security, 1st Class.
