Minister Vučević at “Schuman Forum” in Brussels
At the invitation of High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević is participating today in the first “Schuman Forum” dedicated to security and defence partnerships, which is taking place in Brussels.

During the Forum, Minister Vučević will have several bilateral meetings as well.
This year's, first “Schuman Forum” gathers primarily ministers of defence from 45 partner countries and 27 EU member states, and international and regional organisations with which the EU cooperates in the matters of security and defence.

The partnership of the Republic of Serbia and the European Union in the field of security and defence has been lasting for more than a decade now, and it is reflected chiefly in the contribution to EU military operations and missions. The invitation for the participation in this important forum is an indicator that the Republic of Serbia has been recognised as one of more significant partners of the European Union in the field of security and defence.
The participation in Schuman Forum is an opportunity to share experiences and views with ministers of defence of EU member states, high officials of EU institutions, and representatives of other partner states and international organisations, with whom the Republic Serbia jointly participates in performing tasks of maintaining stability and peace in the world.
