Military Doctors Provide Assistance to Inhabitants of Villages near Tutin and Preševo
Members of the Serbian Armed Forces, in collaboration with the Red Cross, carried out an activity titled “Military doctor in the village” in local self-governments and health centres in the territory of municipalities Tutin and Preševo.
The aim of the activity, which involved medical teams from the Second and Fourth Army Brigades, was to reinforce the cooperation and assist the population with difficult access to healthcare system.
The activity included preventive medical examinations carried out in temporarily established infirmaries in the villages of Dobrinja and Župa in the vicinity of Tutin, and Bujić and Cerevajka ear Preševo, and the activity also included house visits to the patients with impaired mobility or immobility.
The activity “Military Doctor in the village” represents yet another among the projects of civilian-military cooperation implemented by the Serbian Armed Forces in the framework of its third mission in all parts of the Republic of Serbia. By this they demonstrate that they are always in the service of all citizens not only when it comes to county’s defence, but when assistance is needed for the most vulnerable ones.
