New class of soldiers admitted to voluntary military service
A new class of soldiers has been admitted to voluntary military service at SAF Basic Training Centres in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
Following their arrival at the barracks, the soldiers were subjected to medical examinations, issued with weapons and equipment and were then assigned to units, where their commanding officers briefed them about their rights, obligations and responsibilities during their military service.
Over the next month and a half, they will learn how to handle hand arms, perform basic tactical actions and procedures in combat and perform sentry duty, all the while improving their physical fitness.
Following this, they will undergo a six-week individual specialized training, and spend the last three months of their military service in SAF units, where they will learn how to perform collective tasks and be actively involved in everyday life and activities of the units.
