State Secretary Starović meets with U.S. business delegation
State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Nemanja Starović met today with a U.S. business delegation that is paying a two-day visit to the Republic of Serbia, organized by the American-Central European Business Association (ACEBA).
Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković, also attended the meeting.The meeting concluded that the Ministry of Defence was interested in advancing its cooperation with the USA in the domain of military economy and that U.S. companies hoped to extend the existing trade relations with Serbia.
State Secretary Starović said that visits like this were a sound basis for further advancement of cooperation and invited the representatives of the U.S. business delegation to present their product ranges in greater detail in the coming period, through the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade.
Representatives of Northrop Grumman, Motorola and Bell Helicopter presented their companies’ products that could improve the Serbian Armed Forces’ ability to carry out missions and tasks.
