Free admission to Military Museum on Statehood Day
On February 15-16, on the occasion of Sretenje – Serbian Statehood Day, the Military Museum in Kalemegdan Park will offer free admission to all visitors.
The citizens will be able to visit the Military Museum in the period between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., and see the permanent museum exhibition that covers a historical period from 4000 B.C. to the most recent nineties’ wars and includes 3,500 items and documents. The exhibition includes weapons, items of military clothing, uniforms, flags, decorations and numerous photographs and works of art depicting the military and national history of our region.
There will also be free admission to the Military Museum Gallery in Balkanska Street, on February 15, from 10 a.m. to 17 p.m., where the visitors will be able to see the photographic exhibition depicting the heroes who were killed in the Battle of Košare and keeps alive the memory of the fighters who lost their lives fighting against NATO aggression in 1999.
