Minister Vučević visits Miljan Delević who was wounded on Bistrica Bridge

Today, during their tour of the Military Medical Academy, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Minister of Health Prof. Danica Grujičić, MD, visited Miljan Delević, who was wounded on the Bistrica Bridge along the Kosovska Mitrovica-Leposavić motorway yesterday.
According to Minister Vučević, the most important thing is that Miljan Delević is feeling well at the moment.

"I would like to thank the Kraljevo hospital staff, who were the first to provide medical assistance, and to the Military Medical Academy. I believe that he will recover well and be with his family very soon. I hope that he will be able to continue living peacefully in Kosovo and Metohija. For me there is no doubt, it was an attempted murder. The terror against the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija continues. Of course, afterwards they tell lies about the existence of numerous criminal charges; they try to criminalize every Serb, especially in the north of Kosovo and Metohija. A tried-and-tested method, a script that was written a long time ago, something you can see in reality," emphasized Minister Vučević.

Minister Vučević said that, after hearing Delević’s testimony, everyone's impression was that it had been an attempt at liquidation.
"This has nothing to do with the two Serbs’ refusal to stop at the checkpoint; this was an attempt at liquidation. Just look at the number of bullets fired, look at their attempt to corner the Serbs’ car, to squeeze them between concrete blocks and ROSU police vehicles. The question is what ROSU is doing in the north of Kosovo and Metohija considering the Brussels agreement and all the guarantees we have received from the international community. But no one sheds tears for the Serbs and, unfortunately, we have to get used to that. That is not easy to accept, but unfortunately it is our political reality. No one is sorry for either Stefan or Miloš. No one is sorry for the young men who barely survived yesterday. This is the harsh political reality we have been living in for many years," Minister Vučević concluded.

After being shot at, Delević was urgently transported to a hospital in Kraljevo, and earlier today he was transferred to the Military Medical Academy, where he received the necessary medical assistance.
