South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial Meeting

The South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial (SEDM) Meeting was held in Sofia. The Serbian Ministry of Defence delegation was led by Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Predrag Bandić.

The meeting discussed topics such as the future of the South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial (SEDM) Process and the influence of the situation in Ukraine on the South-Eastern Europe region.

The aforementioned meeting was the key event during Bulgaria’s presidency of this regional initiative, which will be taken over by Romania in the next two-year period, from 2023 to 2025.
