Training for 126th ASEWG Brigade’s technical personnel
Regular radar equipment maintenance training is being conducted at the 126th ASEWG Brigade units.
The training, which is being conducted in workshops and at radar positions, aims to train officers and non-commissioned officers to perform maintenance of complex radar computer systems, automation systems and telecommunication and IT equipment. The emphasis is on the training of newly recruited officers and NCOs assigned to the mobile emergency interventions team of this Air Force and Air Defence unit.
The training is chiefly designed to provide officers and non-commissioned officers with specific knowledge of how the radar computer equipment works and the procedures that are followed when performing maintenance of mechanical, computer and specialized hardware components, software sets and spare assemblies.
The training ensures that the entire technical personnel of the 126th ASEWG brigade achieves the highest level of skill in keeping the radar equipment in prefect working order so that the unit can easily perform continuous surveillance and control of the airspace of the Republic of Serbia.
