Armoured Units Day
The Serbian Armed Forces marked the Armoured Units Day today in memory of October 31, 1941, when the rebel forces used tanks for the first time in the battles for the liberation of Kraljevo.
This was an opportunity to summarize past year’s accomplishments and present awards and recognitions to the most distinguished individuals.The review of achieved results highlighted the professionalism, commitment and proficiency of the soldiers and officers in performing the assigned tasks, as well as their contribution to the capability-building and affirmation of SAF tank and mechanized units who have a crucial role in Army operations.
This year, armoured units personnel have marked their holiday mainly on the Serbian Armed Forces’ training grounds and exercise areas, since they are involved in field training as part of Joint Exercise Manoeuvres 2022.
