Hungarian Ministry of Defence delegations visit Serbia



Hungarian Ministry of Defence delegations have visited the Department for Strategic Planning and the Defence Obligations Department at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia.
A four-member Hungarian MoD delegation visited today the Department for Strategic Planning, Defence Policy Sector, where they held expert talks on defence planning with the Department’s representatives.

Head of the Department for Strategic Planning, Colonel Slaven Vujić, described the talks as an opportunity to exchange opinions and accomplishments in the area of strategic planning and preparation of strategic documents, defence system development planning and employment of methods, tools and working practices of analytical support in the defence system development planning.

Head of Section for Strategy Development at the Defence Policy Sector of the Hungarian Ministry of Defence, Katalin Horváth, who led the Hungarian delegation, presented the process of strategic planning and development of Hungary's defence.

A Hungarian MoD delegation led by Head of Department for Development and Strategy, Colonel Attila Varga, was on a two-day visit to the Defence Obligations Department, Human Resources Sector, where they were welcomed by the Head of the Department, Colonel Goran Desančić.

During the conversation, they exchanged opinions and experiences in the implementation of the voluntary military service concept and civil defence training.
