Chief of Serbian Armed Forces General Staff visiting Hellenic Republic
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, accompanied by his delegation, is paying an official visit to the Hellenic Republic, at the invitation of the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros.
The official part of the visit started today by laying wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Syntagma Square in Athens, followed by a meeting between generals Mojsilović and Floros and official talks between representatives of Serbian and Greek armed forces.
The meetings held at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff discussed defence cooperation between Serbia and Greece so far and the possibilities for further improvement of the military to military cooperation. This was also an opportunity for them to exchange opinions about the current regional and global security situation.
General Mojsilović continued his visit by meeting with the Greek Defence Minister Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos. During their conversation, General Mojsilović expressed his gratitude to Greece for supporting the territorial integrity of our country and emphasized that the Republic of Serbia was committed to further developing the overall relations between the two countries, which he described as traditionally friendly and based on mutual trust and respect.
While in Greece, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff will visit the 332nd Squadron in Tanagra air base.
