Serbian and Hungarian officers take part in sports meet
The 11th traditional football match between high-ranking officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and Hungarian Defence Forces has been played in Budapest, Hungary.
The football match was played in a friendly atmosphere, with the Serbian team winning the match after the penalty shootout.The host team’s captain was the Commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, and the Serbian team’s captain was the Head of the Operations Department (J-3), General Staff, Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović.
This sports event has been held since 2015, alternately in Serbia and Hungary and it is one of numerous bilateral activities aimed at strengthening mutual trust and good neighbourly relations.
