Training in Serbian Armed Forces in Mechanised Battalions
Members of mechanised battalions of Serbian Armed Forces are conducting training on training areas and areas of their peacetime locations to execute combat tasks in Army operations using infantry fighting vehicles М-80А.
It is regular training of professional members of mechanised battalions, which is carried out in cycles throughout the year for the purpose of maintaining and advancing the level of readiness for the execution of assigned tasks.The focus is on executing practical content of training of infantry fighting vehicle and debarkation part crews, from the preparation for task execution, application of tactical procedures on march and during the execution of defensive and offensive operations, to the maintenance of all subsystems and weapons. In the period to come, the members of the mechanised battalions will undergo tactical exercises and live firing during which they will practically demonstrate their skills for combat use of this asset.
The Fighting Infantry Vehicle М-80А is intended for the execution of combat tasks of mechanised units in all terrain and weather conditions, and its reliability and efficiency have been proven during the exploitation in Serbian Armed Forces units and at numerous tactical exercises.
