President Vučić attends SAF-MOI Joint Tactical Exercise



President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić has attended the Serbian Armed Forces-Ministry of Interior joint tactical live-fire exercise “Severac 2022” (North Wind 2022) at the “Pasuljanske Livade” Training Ground alongside Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
"Our security forces have demonstrated excellent coordination, preparedness and competence. Congratulations and a big thank you for your hard work, courage and love for the homeland. Long live Serbia!", President Vučić wrote on his Instagram account after the exercise.
  The joint tactical exercise is the final segment of intensive training activities conducted at Pasuljanske Livade this week, with more than 2,500 members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior participating and more than 100 combat assets used.  
These planned activities aim to improve the competence of commands and certain SAF and MOI units.
The exercise featured the action of an augmented tactical group during an operation, as well as joint action and cooperation between different units of the Army, Air Force and Air Defence and SAF and MOI Special Forces engaged on the same mission, using Mi-35, Mi-17 and H-145 helicopters, Pantsir S1 air defence artillery missile system, Lazar 3 and Miloš armoured combat vehicles, M-84 tanks, M-80A infantry fighting vehicles, BRDM-2MS armoured reconnaissance vehicles and VPB M86 military police combat vehicles.
The combat effectiveness of the 155 mm Nora B-52 and 122 mm Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers, PASARS artillery missile system and UAVs were also demonstrated.
