Reception for officers who are to attend General Staff Course
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has hosted a reception today for SAF officers who are to attend the General Staff Course at the National Defence School.
Addressing the new class of officers who will be training for the most senior and responsible positions in the defence system, General Mojsilović said that their work accomplishments and proven abilities had been their recommendations for this educational level, expressing his belief that they would successfully master the demanding theoretical and practical training content. He particularly emphasized the expectation that the students would devote maximum effort and energy to acquiring new knowledge and fully prepare for responsible positions they would be appointed to upon the completion of their training, where they would have to make the greatest contribution to enhancing the overall capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The General Staff Course is the third level of the officer career development programme designed to develop officers’ leadership skills in strategic thinking and efficient command and control amid a wide range of national and international security challenges.
