Military aircraft maintenance training

Students completing their final year at the “1300 Corporals“ Secondary Vocational Military School are currently undergoing aircraft maintenance training at the Air Force and Air Defence Training Centre located at the Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović Military Airfield in Batajnica.

The students are being trained using the Super Seagull and Lasta planes and Gazelle helicopters as part of their internship in the 204th Air Brigade. The training aims to prepare future Air Force NCOs to perform maintenance of these types of aircraft.

During the training, students acquire deeper knowledge of the aircraft, their components, role, principles behind their work and basic actions and procedures in maintaining their equipment and instruments at first and second level maintenance, which will be of utmost importance for them when performing their initial duties in the Air Force and Air Defence units.

When they finish their four-year school and pass their specialist and final graduation exams, students of the Secondary Vocational Military School will become technicians specializing in different areas and be admitted to the Serbian Armed Forces as professional NCOs with the rank of sergeant.
