Presidents of Serbia and Egypt attend display of weapons and military equipment
President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić and President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi have attended today’s display of weapons and military equipment produced by the Serbian defence industry and used by the Serbian Armed Forces. The display was held at the Guard Club's training area.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović were also in attendance.
Today’s display showcased modernized M-84AS2 tank, modernized AB1 and AB2 infantry fighting vehicles, Miloš 4x4 armoured combat vehicles, Lazar-3 armoured combat vehicle with DUBS 12.7 remotely controlled combat station and LAZAR-3M/30, Miloš unmanned platform, modular OGANJ, Tamnava self-propelled multiple rocket launcher, artillery BOV KIV, ALAS missile system, 155mm NORA B52 M15 and M21 self-propelled gun howitzers, PASARS, as well as modernized Giraffe radar, Pegaz unmanned aerial vehicle and a combat drone.
Among the displayed assets, there were also Miloš 4x4 armoured combat vehicle equipped with NOVA missile system, modernized BOV POLO armoured combat vehicle with 2T5, 2T and 2F rockets, and other weapons and military equipment developed by the Military Technical Institute, Yugoimport SDPR Company and factories belonging to the Serbian Defence Industry Group.
At the end of the visit, President Vučić presented President al-Sisi with a 308 WIN hunting rifle produced by Zastava Oružje defence industry factory.
