Prospective pilot candidates undergo selective flight training
Selective flight training is underway for prospective cadet candidates interested in attending the Military Academy’s Military Aviation programme of study and candidates for the Reserve Aviation Officers’ Course. The training is being conducted at the "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" military airfield in Batajnica.
Selective flight training is delivered by 252nd Training Squadron flight instructors to candidates who have passed medical tests and successfully completed the necessary preparations and theoretical part of the training.The flight training is divided into two parts: theoretical instruction, followed by the practical part, i.e. instruction in the air. Over the next two weeks, all candidates will go through the selection process with the "Utva 75" aircraft. Afterwards, they will continue their training in accordance with the skills they have demonstrated and the flight instructors’ assessment.
Cadet candidates who successfully complete the selective flight training will continue their training at the Military Academy, while candidates for the Reserve Aviation Officers’ Course will be admitted to professional military service upon the successful completion of the course and then begin flight training for Serbian Armed Forces pilots.
