Soldiers of Engineering Branch Undergoing Training in First Army Brigade
Following successfully completed individual training, soldiers of Engineering Branch have been assigned to the First Army Brigade units for the continuation of their military service where they are undergoing intensive collective and specialist training.
Together with professional component of the Engineering Battalion of this Brigade, the soldiers are involved in the execution of regular tasks of road building units, which enables them the best possible conditions to acquire and upgrade the knowledge and skills in various working conditions that the engineers of the Serbian Armed Forces may encounter.
Through the engagement on the reconstruction of existing and building new roads and on other tasks of Engineering Branch, the soldiers are further trained in the construction of roads, overcoming obstacles, making blockades and masking, and they gain independence in operating engineering machines.
During the military service, the soldiers of this branch master diverse skills which can be applied outside the military organisation, such as operating engineering machines and other assets, which gives them employment possibilities not only as professional soldiers of the Serbian Armed Forces, but in other sectors of economy.
Excellent living and working conditions in the unit and the opportunities for permanent advancement contribute to a high level of motivation of the soldiers, so many of them, even during their military service, apply for the work in engineering units of the Serbian Armed Forces as professional soldiers, like it is the case with the soldiers of “March 2022” intake.
