Training for Members of 72nd Special Operations Brigade
This week, members of 72nd Special Operations Brigade are conducting field training during which they are to practice special actions and operations of particular importance on several locations.
It is regular training carried out in this brigade for the purpose of maintaining a high level of combat readiness, and to maintain the competence of soldiers and superior officers for the execution of tasks in all relief and micro climate conditions in which they can be engaged in line with the use of the unit.
Today, Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović, visited the members of 72nd Special Operations Brigade at one of the locations for the execution of the training. He attended the training in overcoming vertical obstacles by climbing and the training for the execution of tasks under water at different depths, as well as the execution of combat actions from the surface and under water using special arms and military equipment.
On this occasion, General Mojsilović was assured of excellent competence and preparedness of professional staff of the unit for the execution of specific tasks on mountain terrain and in the areas along rivers and lakes, and he commended them for the diligence, will and perseverance displayed during the training.
The conduct of required training, which is conducted in 72nd Special Operations Brigade throughout the year in all weather and terrain conditions, ensures the supreme competence, physical preparedness and mental strength of the soldiers and superior officers, and a high level of combat readiness of this elite unit of the Serbian Armed Forces.
