Training for IT Service personnel
Members of the IT service are currently undergoing training in the use and maintenance of information systems used in the Serbian Armed Forces. The training is taking place in the IT and Signals Training Centre, Gornji Milanovac.
Officers and civilians in charge of the Geographic and Command and Control Information Systems, designed to support command and control in the defence system, undergo this training. In line with the training program, course participants learn how to establish and perform maintenance of information services, protect data and security and administrate IT systems developed by experts from the Telecommunications and IT Department (J-6, Serbian Armed Forces General Staff) and its subordinate units.
Training of IT service personnel keeps up with modern trends and latest findings in the field of information technology and is fully tailored to SAF requirements. Upon the completion of the training, SAF will receive another class of competent specialists, fully trained in information systems maintenance and administration.
