Visit to SAF units in Požarevac garrison
Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, accompanied by his associates, visited part of SAF units garrisoned in Požarevac.
General Mojsilović inspected the daily life and workplace organization at the Army Training Centre in the "General Pavle Jurišić Šturm" barracks, as well as the situation, operational and functional capabilities and training facilities in this Training Command unit.Professional unit members were briefed on SAF’s main tasks, plans for further enhancement of capabilities and measures taken to improve the status and financial position of SAF personnel.
Afterwards, General Mojsilović saw some segments of tactical training that the Basic NCO Course participants undergo at the "Peskovi" training ground. These professional soldiers are trained for their initial NCO duties at the "Sergeant Milunka Savić" NCO Training Centre.Addressing the future NCOs, Chief of the General Staff praised them for working hard during the training and carrying out their responsibilities in a professional manner. He stressed that they would have to make maximum effort to meet the high standards and gain required knowledge and skills that they would soon use as SAF officers, upon the completion of the course.
