Members of Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces participate in Third Regional Training of Trainers on Gender Equality
Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces have participated in the Third Regional Training of Trainers on Gender Equality held in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia.
The Third Regional Training of Trainers on Gender Equality is part of the initiative Strengthening of Regional Cooperation on Gender Mainstreaming in Security Sector Reform in the Western Balkans (II Phase) which was organized by UNDP’s Belgrade office, in collaboration with the ministries of defence and armed forces of the Western Balkan countries and Nordic Centre for Gender in Military Operations.The aim of the two-week course was for future instructors and trainers to acquire methodological and professional skills for an effective implementation of gender mainstreaming in everyday work. Seventeen participants from Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the course and gender trainers from these countries also participated in the preparation of the course.
