Transportation Information for Visitors of Demonstration of Capabilities of Serbian Armed Forces “SHIELD 2022”
According to the announcement of the Secretariat for Defence, Emergency Situations, Communication and Coordination of Public Relations with the citizens of the City of Belgrade, there will be a change in the operation of public transportation lines due to the demonstration of capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces “SHIELD 2022” which is going to take place on the military airfield “Colonel-Pilot Мilenko Pavlović, on Saturday. The changes are to be as follows:
- The frequency will be increased on public transportation lines 73 (New Belgrade/Block 45/Batajnica/Railway Station/), and 706 (Zeleni Venac – Batajnica) and 706E (Zemun/Kej Oslobođenja/- „Batajnica“ Airfield);
- A temporary local public transportation line 706AM will be established which will follow the route Batajnica (Railway Station) – Batajnica Airfield – Parking in the zone of “Pinoles” Company (immediately before the entrance in Nova Pazova);
- A temporary local public transportation line 706AB will be established which will follow the route Batajnica – “Batajnica” Airfield - Parking in the zone of “Pinoles” Company (immediately before the entrance in Nova Pazova).
Vehicles driving on the temporary local public transportation lines 706AM and 706AB will change their direction at the parking in the zone of “Pinoles” company, immediately before the entrance in Nova Pazova, and they will use the existing JGP stops along their routes.
The demonstration of capabilities is open for citizens from 8.30 to 15.00, and the visitors will be able to enter Batajnica airfield through three entrances – the main entrance into the military airfield “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović”, entrance into the Aeronautical Plant “Moma Stanojlović”, and alternative entrance from Nova Pazova direction.
