Minister Stefanović for the “Informer”: the Equipment and capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces are at their historical highest
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović PhD said today in his statement for the “Informer” that “with huge support and understanding of the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander Aleksandar Vučić in the previous period, we had serious investments. We managed to raise the level of equipment and overall capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces to their highest level in their history”.
He invited citizens to come on Saturday at the military airfield “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović” in Batajnica and spend a nice day with their armed forces.
“They will be able to see first-hand what it is that their armed forces have and what it is that they can do, how powerful and modern they are, so that they could sleep peacefully knowing that there is someone who keeps them safe. We will present some of the latest and state-of-the-art weapon systems, owing to which the Serbian Armed Forces are gaining capabilities that they have never had until now”, said Minister Stefanović.
The minister pointed out that we are strengthening our armed forces and investing in our defence exclusively to discourage anyone who would even dare think of endangering the security of our people.
“We will pursue the policy of President Vučić and be solely a factor of peace and stability in this part of Europe, cooperating with everyone, but we will first of all take care of the interests of Serbia as an independent and free country”, Stefanović stated.
