Demonstration Serbian Armed Forces’ Capabilities “SHIELD 2022”
On Saturday, 30th April 2022, the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces are organising a demonstration of capabilities of Serbian Armed Forces dubbed “SHIELD 2022”. The demonstration is going to take place on military airfield “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović“in Batajnica.
The demonstration, which starts at 11.00, will include a part of Air Force and Air Defence, the Army, 72nd Special Operations Brigade and 63rd Parachute Brigade.
Apart from the demonstration, from 8.30 to 15.00 hours, visitors will have an opportunity to observe a display of modern arms and military equipment, assets under development, and to enjoy in flight programme.
The activities at the military airfield will involve more than 1000 members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, more than 300 assets of arms and military equipment and 40 aircraft.
From 26th to 29th April, military aircraft will fly over the area of Belgrade as part of preparations for the demonstration of capabilities.
