4th Army Brigade Howitzer Artillery Battalion conducts exercise
Members of the 4th Army Brigade Self-Propelled Howitzer Artillery Battalion have executed a live-fire tactical exercise at the "Pasuljanske Livade" Training Ground.
The activities at the training ground lasted for several days, with the 122-mm 2S1 "Gvozdika" self-propelled howitzer crews practicing combat actions and procedures in providing artillery support to the brigade units while conducting an operation. The exercise was preceded by intensive individual and collective training as well as firing practices and tests.
Reconnaissance and occupation of fire positions, camouflage, target coordinates calculation, timely introduction of an artillery unit into the battle, and the organization of artillery fire are only part of the complex artillery training conducted and evaluated during the exercise.Very good and excellent exercise and live-firing scores are proof of the quality training delivered in the 4th Army Brigade Battalion and its ability to complete the tasks it is intended for.
