Class of December undergoes end-of-training evaluation
This week, the specialist skills of soldiers (Class of “December 2021“) who are performing their voluntary military service, were tested. The soldiers’ individual training lasts for four months.
The evaluation includes reconnaissance specialists and M-80A infantry combat vehicle and M-84 tank gunners, whose specialized training last longer due to the nature of their future tasks.
The final exam at the Army Training Centre tested soldiers’ ability to carry out tactical missions, handling of branch-specific weapons and the command of weapons and equipment used by the armoured and reconnaissance SAF units. The test results showed that the training was well planned and conducted and that the soldiers have reached the required level of training, necessary for carrying out tasks assigned to their specialties.
After the evaluation, the soldiers will be sent to SAF units, where they will continue to broaden their knowledge and skills and train for the execution of collective tasks until the end of their military service.
