Command and staff exercise conducted by MP battalion
The Fifth Military Police Battalion has conducted the “Spring 2022" command and staff exercise, practicing the preparation and execution of a counter-terrorism operation, stabilization and disengagement.
The goal of the exercise was to raise the level of competence of members of the battalion command for operational planning and implementation of standard operating procedures when commanding the forces participating in an operation.
In parallel with the command exercise, basic units underwent specialist training, i.e. military policemen underwent collective training in exercising military police powers, in accordance with their occupational specialties.
Following specified scenarios, they practiced tactics, techniques and procedures for locating and destroying a sabotage group, patrolling, escorting detainees, using working dogs to find explosive ordnance and regulating military traffic.
The training in the Army military police battalions is diverse. It is conducted in all conditions throughout the year and it improves these units’ competence for carrying out military police tasks.
