First Army Brigade’s armoured and infantry units undergo training
Members of the First Army Brigade’s armoured and infantry units conducted regular combat training in field settings last week at the “Pasuljanske livade” training ground. The goal of the training was to improve soldiers’ skills in using the unit’s main weapons and the capability for joint action when carrying out combat operations at a tactical level.
For several days, tactical actions and procedures used by armoured and infantry units in the defence and the offence were practiced, and live firings were conducted using M-84 tanks, automatic grenade launchers and mortars. The unit achieved very good and excellent firing results in complex weather conditions. At the same time, the units’ ability to organize life and work in the field was checked, from setting up a camp area, establishing a command post and telecommunications to preparing a sleeping and dining area for the troops. The successful execution of exercise activities at the "Pasuljanske livade" training ground improved individual skills of members of the First Army Brigade and this unit’s capability to perform assigned missions and tasks.
