Specialist soldier training in Army Training Centre

The infantry and engineer soldiers performing voluntary military service (Class of December 2021) are undergoing intensive specialist training at the "Mogila" and "Peskovi" training grounds near Požarevac.  As part of the six-week individual specialist training in the Army Training Centre, infantrymen and engineers are being trained to use hand arms, support weapons, mines and explosive devices, and are taught tactical actions and procedures used in combat operations.

In this phase of training, infantry soldiers are conducting preliminary firings using infantry weapons and are independently performing tactical tasks, practicing movement on the battlefield, choosing cover, using camouflage and CBRN protection. Simultaneously, engineers are conducting exercises using mines and explosive devices, and are being taught to detonate explosive charges, and to place and remove mines.  At the end of their specialist training next week, this class’s ability to independently perform tactical tasks will be tested, followed by collective training in the Serbian Armed Forces units until the end of their military service.
