Minister of Defence extends congratulations on the occasion of the Statehood Day of Serbia
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has sent a message of congratulations to all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed forces on the occasion of Candlemas - the Statehood Day of Serbia, which reads:
"I congratulate all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces on February 15, Candlemas - the Statehood Day of Serbia.
In memory of this special day in the history of our people, when Serbia received one of the most modern constitutions in Europe at the time, we proudly remember the paths of creation of our state and celebrate the courage and wisdom of our ancestors.
I wish you a happy holiday hoping that we will achieve even better results in order to ensure a life of peace and stability for the citizens of our country and to preserve what our ancestors fought fiercely for."
